In a one to one
Instead of talking about the weather, start the conversation by pulling a card and talking about it together.
One card. One question. One conversation nobody was having yet.
Most of what shapes a team's dynamics goes unsaid: meetings where people are quiet, colleagues who are hard to be around, things we have been meaning to say for weeks. So we created a deck of 38 cards. Each card puts one of those unspoken dynamics in the middle of the table, so you can finally talk about it and take action.

You will see how the deck works: a question you cannot answer on autopilot, and a few lines to sit with afterwards.

Instead of talking about the weather, start the conversation by pulling a card and talking about it together.
Pick a card and discuss it with the team. It surfaces unspoken situations and sets the tone for a constructive meeting.
Pick a card and answer it honestly. Nobody has to see it, but do take one action after, no matter how small.
They have been a very useful tool to start conversations where people struggled to get involved.
We made the deck for the launch of Hu.Be at the Engage Employee Summit 2026 in London. Rather than hand out brochures, we asked people to pick a card. Almost nobody walked away. They read it, went quiet for a second, and then told us about their team.
That is the whole idea behind Hu.Be, in the simplest object we could make: notice the human thing, say it out loud, and the work gets better.

The interest in Hu.Be was beyond anything we had hoped for. The cards worked their magic. People picked one, and we were straight into talking about what mattered. It was so overwhelming that, on Day 2, a Wise Humanity client came to the rescue.
A full deck, sold at cost (£10) because we would rather it was used than admired.
